My summer holidays

In this essay, Florian ( 12 years old ) explains what he usually does on holidays and where he is going this summer.

I usually go to the mountains and the seaside. When I go to the mountains, I go hiking and I like cycling. I sometimes go jogging in the morning. I like watching animals. There are squirrels, rabbits, beavers, owls in the night and snakes!!!
In the mountains there are rivers and waterfalls.

Some brave people go white-water rafting, I go canoeing.

When I go to the seaside I like swimming, making sandcastles and I sometimes go bodyboarding. I like playing in the waves. Sometimes there are big waves and small waves. I like snorkelling and catching crabs.

This summer I am going to Auvergne ( Vic sur Cere). We are going to walk in the mountains. I am going to watch the scenery and take a lot of photos.
Then we are going to the seaside to Brittany ( near Concarneau). There is a long sandy beach and some shops. I am going to buy some Mangas. My Dad likes seafood. I don't like seafood.
When we are on holidays we sometimes have dinner in a restaurant.

At the end of my holiday on July 14th we are going to watch the fireworks.
